ABOUT ME

I live my life with resilience, a sprinkle of humor, and the belief that stepping outside the box leads to new opportunities and growth. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Holistic Practitioner, I help others do the same — guiding college students, young adults, and professionals to navigate transitions with clarity, self-compassion, and confidence.

THE HOLISTIC FRAMEWORK

My work is grounded in a Holistic Counseling Model that honors the connection between the mind, body, and spirit. Whether through counseling, coaching, or consulting, I help individuals strengthen awareness, reduce anxiety, and move toward meaningful change.

I’m Shana Bloom, LMHC, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Rhode Island, Georgia, and Telehealth Licensed in Florida, specializing in Holistic Counseling, Coaching, and Executive Functioning support for college students, young adults, and career changers. My work is grounded in a Holistic Counseling Model that integrates the mind, body, and spirit. I combine emotional support, mindfulness, and Executive Functioning strategies to help clients strengthen focus, organization, and self-awareness.
While life does not come with a map, I believe we are each given subtle breadcrumbs — insights that can illuminate our next steps. My role is to help you recognize and follow those signs with curiosity and courage. Through empathy, humor, and practical strategies, I provide guidance and support as you move toward clarity and purpose.

🎓 My Educational Journey

I love Higher Education! It's the place where I discovered my abilities,

and realized, I could now become the ZEBRA in a herd of horses.

Growing up school did not come easily to me. I struggled with learning issues and lacked confidence in my abilities. I truly believed that "I was just not good at it." At 24, I was struggling in the workforce and needed to try something else; I took a chance and enrolled in Aims Community College in Colorado. At that time, I needed full year of remedial coursework, before I could even begin to take college level classes.

In my first quarter at Aims, I earned a 3.0 GPA--the best grades I had ever received.  I still remember standing outside of the building, jumping up and down shouting, "I can do this!"  I was yelling so loud, everyone could hear. From then on, I was "on fire" and went on to earn my Associates, Bachelors, Masters and Post Graduate degrees.

After discovering that I could be successful in education, I found my passion in helping others find their path and the confidence to pursue it. Together, we will build road maps toward actualizing your dreams.
